Welcome to the Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation
Trust
Welcome to the new Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation
Trust website. Our aim is to provide clear and accessible
information about our services and how to access them.
On the website you will find a wide range of
information about our services for people of all ages who are
experiencing problems with their mental health and require support
to improve their emotional health and wellbeing.
The Trust offers an extensive variety of
services that are recovery focussed and socially inclusive, and are
delivered in agreement with our service users, their
carers and families to ensure that they receive the
necessary level and choice of support to meet their needs and
enable them to achieve a meaningful and fulfilling life.
The Trust is nationally recognised for its innovative work and
high quality of services. Our services have been rated as
'Excellent' by the Healthcare Commission for the past three years
and we were one of only 57 trusts nationally to receive a personal
letter from the Secretary of State for the consistent delivery of
high quality services.
The website has been specifically designed to
be accessible to all and is available in different formats and
languages. We hope that you find the information helpful
and the website easy to navigate, enabling you to access the
information that you require and learn more about the work of the
Trust.
We are proud of the services that we
provide and of the hard work and commitment of our staff and
personally invite you to visit the NHS Foundation Trust page on the website
where you will find details of how you can join us by becoming a
Member of the Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and
contribute to the further development and improvement of mental
health and learning disability services in Somerset.
With our very best wishes

Delivering Same Sex Accommodation
The Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
recognises the importance of delivering high quality services for
all patients.
The Department of Health issues guidance regarding standards and
principles of good practice for inpatient care. The Trust
is compliant with this guidance and the standards and principles of
good practice in respect of same sex
accommodation. No patients share sleeping accommodation
or bathroom and toilet facilities with members of the
opposite sex. However, the Trust also recognises that there
is always room for improvement and is committed to an ongoing
programme of work to continue to improve all accommodation and
facilities.
