We also provide specialist health services for adults with learning disabilities.
Our vision is to be the mental health service provider of choice for the people of Somerset, and increasingly, for the South West.
The Trust offers an extensive variety of services that are recovery focussed and socially inclusive, and are delivered in agreement with our service users, their carers and families to ensure that they receive the necessary level and choice of support to meet their needs and enable them to achieve a meaningful and fulfilling life.
The Trust is nationally recognised for its innovative work and high quality of services. Our services and financial management have been rated as 'Excellent and Good' by the Healthcare Commission and its successor the Care Quality Commission for the past four years and we were one of only 57 trusts nationally to receive a personal letter from the Secretary of State for the consistent delivery of high quality services.
