Every month we celebrate a team and individual staff member who has gone above and beyond their role to deliver great patient care, better patient or carer experience or who have truly demonstrated the Trust’s values in their work in whatever role they have – front-line, back office or support staff.
This month’s we have two Employees of the Month, Paul Arrowsmith, Physiotherapy Technician, Community Health Team for Adults with Learning Disabilities at Foundation House and Louise Bird, Integrated Rehabilitation Team Manager Yeovil.
Paul was nominated by Amy Owen, Medical Secretary and Emma Partridge, Resource Designer and Philip Gough, Health Facilitator:
“Paul is extremely passionate about the service he provides. He is always the first person to offer help and doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty – when we recently moved office he was even taking desks apart and helping the moving men! He is a great asset to our team and always keeps everyone in good spirits, even if he ends up being the subject of the joke!"
Louise was nominated by Angela Cornell, Integrated Team and Operational Service Manager:
“Louise is currently managing the Reablement Home Care Service for South Somerset. She has facilitated the discharge off nearly 60 patients from the Acute and Community hospitals within South Somerset alone. She has managed to complete this alongside her substantive post as Team Manager.”
