Public nominations for staff awards now open

Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is looking for nominations from the public as part of its annual Staff Recognition Awards. We want to celebrate the inspiring and innovative work we see every day from staff across our Trust, those who have gone the extra mile this year.

Somerset Partnership provides a comprehensive range of integrated community health, mental health, learning disability and social care services to people of all ages. The Trust is inviting patients and carers to nominate a staff member or team for the Patients’ Choice Award and the Carers’ Choice Award.

Nick Macklin, Director of Workforce and Organisational Development, Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust said:

“I am proud of our staff and their achievements, and I am eager to hear from members of the public, patients, and their carers who they think deserves to be recognised.

“If you know an individual or team who you feel has gone the extra mile to provide you, a friend or members of your family, outstanding care, then please nominate them for an award.”

The nomination process is easily – you can do it all online.

The closing date for nominations is Friday 2 September 2016.  The awards will be presented at the Staff Recognition Awards ceremony in November 2016. The successful nominator will be invited to attend with a guest.
