Who won the latest Somerset Partnership staff awards?

Employee of the Month - December/January

Val Kidner, senior pharmacy technician, won the award for providing outstanding support to one of our community patients when their blood cell count had dropped and the Clozapine Plasma Monitoring Service recommended that blood samples were taken and analysed on a daily basis until they returned to normal. Val ensured that he had daily tests, and came in over two weekends to analyse the results, despite her job being a Monday to Friday role

Employee of the Month – February

Nicole Hill (pictured right), IT support technician, won the award for the way she remained calm, efficient and cheerful (even when things didn’t quite go to plan) during the recent Mallard Court offices moves. Nicole worked with everyone involved to minimise the disruption to staff as they relocated.

Employee of the Month – March

Alison Holding (pictured left), rehabilitation assistant in the stroke team at Williton Hospital, won the award for how she prevented a patient being admitted to hospital by stepping up and supporting with arranging her care during a critical time. Alison used her wonderful manner and organisational skills to see her through a traumatic time, allowing her to remain at home.

Team of the Month – December/January

Emma Stacey, Sasha Beckey (both pictured below) and Nicola Stoodley at South Petherton Hospital won the award for their amazing dedication to the colleague flu campaign.

Team of the Month – March

The finance team at Mallard Court won this award after being nominated by a colleague who was so grateful for the “wonderful support and caring that they gave me while I was undergoing chemotherapy last year and dealing with the after effects which are still ongoing.”

Learner of the Month – December/January

Alison Gray from the Bridgwater integrated rehabilitation team won this award.
