The hospital has 14 inpatient beds. There is a team of doctors, nurses and therapists who support patients during their hospital stay.
We provide Primary Care Dental Services in Somerset, Dorset and the Isle of Wight for patients with learning disabilities, dental phobias, and certain mental health, medical or physical health problems.
The service provides support and education for people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
The service offer retinal screening, at least once a year to all patients within Somerset who have a diagnosis of diabetes who are over the age of 12 years
The service sees adults and children who need advice about what to eat and drink for a variety of medical reasons, and use dietetic counseling to help our patients to self-manage their condition.
The District Nursing Service provides high quality nursing care to individuals in their own homes, residential care environments and in the Ambulatory Care Centres across Somerset. The service works in partnership with patients, their family and carers and other Health and Social care professionals.
