The hospital has 17 inpatient beds, 8 of these beds are dedicated to specialist inpatient stroke rehabilitation. There is a team of doctors, nurses and therapists who support patients during their hospital stay. The hospital has a nurse led Minor Injuries Unit.
We offer a wide range of treatments in a variety of different ways, so that we can help as many people as possible access talking therapies. Our aim is that our therapies should intrude as little as possible in your everyday life, but still have the best chance of delivering positive outcomes for you.
Provides a ‘one stop shop’ which offers free and open-access to contraceptive and sexual health services to support healthy sexual and reproductive choices.
South Petherton Community Hospital has 24 inpatient beds, 16 of these beds are dedicated to specialist inpatient stroke rehabilitation. There is a team of doctors, nurses and therapists who support patients during their hospital stay.
The service provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment to adult inpatients and outpatients with acquired and congenital disorders of communication and swallowing.
St Andrews Ward provides assessment and treatment primarily for adults of working age experiencing an acute mental health problem
We provide longer term support for more complex patients, and review all stroke patients at approximately 6 months after their stroke.
